Stiles Machinery Donates to Skill Standards

The holiday season brought a nice surprise for the Woodwork Career Alliance of North America. Stiles Machinery of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the World, donated $2,500 to the Skill Standards work. Mr. Peter Kleinschmidt writes: “We made our decision to provide these funds because of our belief that skill standards are important to the advancement of our industry. We know the value of having a qualified workforce and that these standards will provide direction to employers, employees, and educational programs.”

Stiles has the distinction of being the FIRST individual woodworking industry supplier to make a donation to the Skill Standards initiative. All those who are participating in making this dream come true are grateful to Stiles Machinery for their gracious and generous donation.
